I had the honor of screening my short film, SUGAR, in Europe at the annual Lisbon Motorcycle Film Festival as an official selection. It was a bit of a surprise that I had to get on stage and speak afterwards, but I made sure to practice some Portuguese in my hotel room the night before.

Description: Sugar examines the unbreakable bond between two men and their motorcycles, bound by the weight of type one diabetes yet finding an escape on the open road. For Neil, diagnosed at sixteen alongside meeting his lifelong partner, Kayla, the journey has always been one of duality – love and disease, independence and reliance. Steven, raised by his mother who later shared his diagnosis, grew up seeing resilience as both burden and gift. Now married with two sons, he rides to shift gears and perspectives, reconnecting with himself along the way. Every mile is a rebellion against the weight of diabetes, a push toward something greater. Sugar is a testament to pushing beyond the burdens of a disease to explore the joys life has to offer.

Directed the marketing campaign and brand strategy for the launch of the all-new MD-Series ride-on trowels.

Creating video content that tells a brand story has become a passion of mine. In December 2018, I filmed, directed and fully edited interview testimonials from Authorized SCA Trainers (ASTs) to promote the career-advancing benefits that SCA Education provides.

Below is the first interview:

Below is a video that I created to promote Re:co Symposium. Re:co is an event for thought leaders from the coffee industry to exchange ideas and formulate new strategies for a sustainable future for specialty coffee.

I collaborated with a group during an agency simulation class in college to produce this advertisement for MedlinePlus. My contributions to the ad were the storyline, white-space setting, and writing the script. The ad was filmed and produced by the film department at Columbia College Chicago.
